Mom's oshizushi

Every year on Christmas day my mom would make her "oshizushi" (pressed sushi). This year was no exception. The best time to eat it is right after it is pressed out. The press is a made out of wood and is in three distinct shapes. One of them is a cherry blossom shape, the other two are abstract but distinctly Japanese. In the middle is canned tuna cooked in sugar and shoyu. Once pressed it is topped with a scrambled egg square, red and green powered ebi flakes (shrimp). However we were out of it. Still tasted good though.
